YORK, Pa. (Feb. 16, 2013) - The Maritime hockey team won both of its games at the ACHA Atlantic Regional Tournament this weekend and have clinched a berth in the ACHA D3 National Tournament! The Privateers defeated Penn State-Brandywine, 7-1, on Friday night to advance and play the #3 team in the region, Alvernia on Saturday.
 
        Maritime fell behind early today, but continued steady play throughout the day. The team killed off two separate 5-on-3 opportunities for Alvernia in the third period and come out with a 4-3 victory.

        The Privateers will be back in action on Sunday in Newark, N.J. at the AmeriHealth Pavilion at the Prudential Center, when they will play as the #1 seed in the Met Hockey Conference Tournament against #4 Fordham. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
