THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (Oct. 5, 2013) - The Maritime women's volleyball team hosted a Skyline Conference Tri-Match on Saturday at the Riesenberg Hall Gym, but lost both of its league matches against Mount St. Mary and NYU-Poly. The Privateers fall to 1-15 (0-3 Skyline) on the season.

        Junior Charlotte Acklin (Lewes, Del./West Broward (Fla.)) (Lewes, Del./West Broward) led the team with eight kills and also recorded 12 digs. Senior Alyssa Pourmonir (Pittston, Pa./Pittston Area ) (Pittston, Pa./Pittston Area) had 32 digs to lead the Privateers, while junior Christine McCormak (Goshen, N.Y./Goshen) recorded 17 assists.

The Privateers return to action on Thursday night, Oct. 10, against Kings Point. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Riesenberg Gym.
