Volleyball Ends Season With 3-0 Loss At Saint Elizabeth Wednesday Night

        MORRISTOWN, N.J. (Oct. 30, 2013) – The Maritime women's volleyball team ended its season on Wednesday night with a road match at the College of Saint Elizabeth in New Jersey. The Privateers lost in straight sets to the Screaming Eagles – 25-16, 25-13 and 25-12.
 
        Junior Sydney Carella (Greenville, N.Y./Greenville) (Greenville, N.Y./Greenville) had a team-high six kills on the night, while also picking up 12 digs. Senior Alyssa Pourmonir (Pittston, Pa./Pittston Area ) (Pittston, Pa./Pittston Area) led all players with 15 digs in her final collegiate match. Junior Christine McCormak (Goshen, N.Y./Goshen) added eight assists, while classmate Charlotte Acklin (Lewes, Del./West Broward (Fla.)) (Lewes, Del./West Broward) chipped in with 14 digs.
 
        Saint Elizabeth was led by Kareemah Muhammad and Subhana Wrights, who both had a match-high eight kills, while Cheyenne Grant registered 24 assists. Three players tied for the team-lead with 10 digs: Nicole Morera, Taisha Colon and Katie Cooper.
