        THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (Oct. 22, 2013) – The Maritime women's volleyball team will play host to non-conference opponent John Jay on Tuesday night in the final home contest of the season. Before the first serve, the Privateers will hold a special Senior Night Ceremony for lone senior Alyssa Pourmonir (Pittston, Pa./Pittston Area ) (Pittston, Pa./Pittston Area). Action is set to get underway at 7:30 p.m. at the Riesenberg Hall Gym.
 
Inside The Series With John Jay
        This will be the sixth meeting between the Privateers and the Bloodhounds since the 2005 season. John Jay holds a 5-0 lead in the series. The two squads last squared off on Oct. 20, 2011 in Manhattan and the home Bloodhounds won by the score of 3-0 (25-18, 28-26, 25-15).
