BRONXVILLE, N.Y. (Sept. 18, 2012) – The Maritime women's volleyball team lost to Sarah Lawrence College in straight sets Tuesday night at the Gryphons' Campbell Sports Center, dropping the Privateers to 0-8 on the season.

Sarah Lawrence was led by freshman Zoë Spanbroek, who had a match-high 13 kills, while senior Brooklynn Moore picked up 18 assists.
Maritime returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 22, when the squad opens Skyline Conference action at a Farmingdale St. Tri-Match. The Privateers are scheduled to take on Farmingdale St. at 10 a.m. and then Old Westbury at noon at the Rams' Lynch Sports Center.
