“Seafaring Scuffle” Is A Rivalry That Transcends The Gridiron
Fans and student-athletes always get excited when the football schedule is announced and usually always circle the date of the Maritime-Kings Point game. However, alumni from both maritime-industry institutions are even more excited than most about the annual event.
Oftentimes, these alumni are working together in the high seas all over the globe and the results of these games on the gridiron are a big sense of pride for the alums and their institutions. The 2012 “Seafaring Scuffle” should not disappoint, as both teams are coming off of wins over other maritime-industry schools (Maritime over Mass. Maritime and USMMA over Coast Guard).
