Matt Garofalow called “the biggest win in program history,” before downing MCHC-foe Stevens, 19-7, on Sunday on the road. The Privateers are still riding a two-month long 13-game winning streak and boast a 14-1 overall record, including a 13-0 mark in Met Hockey action.

The Privateers will take the winter break off and return to the rink on Friday night, Jan. 18, 2013, for a matchup with MCHC-opponent and arch-rival Kings Point. Game time is scheduled for 10:15 p.m. at the Parkwood Sports Complex. They'll continue play that weekend at home against County College of Morris on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 9:15 p.m. at Parkwood and an away game at Farmingdale St. on Sunday, Jan. 20, at 2 p.m. at the Freeport Recreation Center in Freeport, Long Island, N.Y.
