Basketball Game Day: Privateers Resume Conference Play Against St. Joseph’s Thursday Night

        THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (Jan. 5, 2012) – The Maritime men's basketball team will travel to Patchogue, N.Y., to face Skyline Conference-foe St. Joseph's Thursday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Golden Eagles' Danzi Athletic Center.

        St. Joseph's has controlled the series over the last five seasons, defeating the Privateers in all 10 contests. In the last meeting during the 2010-11 season, the Golden Eagles secured an 88-73 home win, out in Long Island.  Senior Quamel Lyerly (Inwood, N.Y./Lawrence) led the way for Maritime with 26 points and six rebounds, while then-junior Mike McSloy (Kings Park, N.Y./Kings Park) (Kings Park, N.Y./Kings Park) contributed 16 points.
