Privateers Name Porte And McSloy 2011-12 Team Captains
Under second-year head coach

Last season, McSloy ranked first on the team in minutes (37.8 mpg) and third in scoring (12.6 ppg), while leading the Privateers with 85 assists. Porte was third on the squad with 6.8 rebounds per game coming off the bench and also put up 6.7 points per game.
Maritime Welcomes Seven Newcomers To This Year's Squad

T-Vaughn Gibson (Freeport, Bahamas/Sun Land Academy) and

Inside The Series
Over the past seven seasons, the two teams have met 10 times and Kings Point owns a 7-3 record in the series. However, Maritime won the last meeting during the 2010-11 season in dramatic fashion, 66-65, in the first game of the year, played at the Riesenberg Hall Gymnasium. Senior
Giovanni Hurley (Brooklyn, N.Y./Middle College High) made a three-point buzzer beater at the end of regulation to sink the Mariners and give the Privateers their first win over USMMA since the 2007-08 season.
