Women’s Soccer Preview: Privateers Back In Action Tonight At Home Against Farmingdale State

THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (Oct. 4, 2011) – The Maritime women's soccer team will take on Skyline Conference foe Farmingdale State Tuesday night. The home game is set to start at 7 p.m. at Reinhart Field.
 
Inside The Series
Over the past six years, the two conference opponents have met each other once a season. Farmingdale has won each encounter, including a 9-0 victory during the 2010 season.
 
Last year, Maritime's then-goalkeeper Ashley Edington (Bay Shore, N.Y./St. Anthony's) (Bay Shore, N.Y./St. Anthony's) was forced to make 11 saves in the first half as Farmingdale shot off all of their goals for the game. In the second half, Maritime broke through with two shots, but each was saved by Farmingdale's defense.
