Hockey Drops Final Four Matches Of 2009-10 Season

THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (Feb. 19, 2010) - The Maritime hockey team lost its final four regular season games of the 2009-10 season to Fordham (5-1 on Feb. 5), Columbia (8-4 on Feb. 6), St. Thomas Aquinas (7-6 on Feb. 12) and Suffolk (6-5 in overtime on Feb. 13). With the losses, the Privateers ended the year with a 6-11 record, a great turnaround from the 0-15 record posted in the 2008-09 campaign.

The Privateers conclude the year with a scrimmage against local rival from across the Long Island Sound, Kings Point, on Saturday night at the Parkwood Sports Complex in Great Neck. The puck drops at 10:15 p.m.
