NEWBURGH, N.Y. (Oct. 29, 2009) – The Maritime women's volleyball team fell to conference-opponent Mount Saint Mary, 3-0, Wednesday night. With the loss, the Privateers fall to 3-17 (0-9 Skyline), while the Blue Knights improve to 17-13 (5-4 Skyline).

 

            Maritime was led by junior Natalie Warren (Peachtree City, Ga./Homeschooled), who recorded a match-high nine digs, while freshman Jerrica Romero (Bronx, N.Y./Herbert H Lehman) had a team-high eight assists. Freshman Lauren Johnson (Lansing, Mich./Holt) led the Privateers with four kills and senior Marissa Danzy put up a team-best four blocks.

 

            The Privateers return to the court on Tuesday, Nov. 3, when they host Yeshiva in the season-finale at 8 p.m. at Riesenberg Gymnasium.
