SUNY Maritime

At Maritime:

2011: Mike played in 14 games scoring four goals, two assists. He had a career day at Mount St. Mary on April 4 as he finished with two goals, two assists. He also picked up two ground balls and caused one turnover on the season.
 
Mike will major in International Trade and Transportation.  Mike is a member of the Regimen of Cadets.
 
Prior to Maritime:

Mick played for the West Islip Lions under Coach Scott Craig, where he won the New York State Championship. In high school, he also played for the football team, where he was awarded The William Starke Character Award.
 
Personal:

Mike is the son of Laurie and Mike Johnson. His 17-year-old brother Dan plays lacrosse and football for West Islip, and his 15-year-old sister Victoria plays lacrosse for the Hawks. Mike goes by the nickname “Mikey J” and before games he shoots around listening to his iPod. The person he most admires is his dad and his favorite athlete is Darrelle Revis. Mike aspires to some day be working on a tanker.
