THROGGS NECK, NY – After playing four straight on the road, the Maritime College men's lacrosse team returned to Reinhart Field on Saturday afternoon for a matchup with Geneseo. The Privateers (4-3) had a 3-2 lead after one quarter before the Knights (4-2) rallied for a 17-11 win.

Charles Gerace (Miller Place, NY) leveled it just over a minute later.
Jack Louer (Clifton, NJ) then gave Maritime its first lead of the game, 3-2. After the Knights notched the first two goals of the second quarter, the Privateers responded with tallies from

The Privateers scored the next three goals to trim their deficit to 15-11, but Geneseo added two late tallies to secure a 17-11 victory.
