THROGGS NECK, NY – On Sunday afternoon, the Maritime College men's soccer team wrapped up its four-game homestand by welcoming Potsdam to Reinhart Field. The Privateers (1-3-1) suffered their second straight loss, however, dropping a 3-0 decision to the Bears (3-1-0).

The Bears scored twice early in the second half to increase their lead to 3-0. Anderson Velasquez found the back of the net in the 47
th minute, then assisted on Potsdam's third goal, sending a low cross to Fernando Rosas, who put it home into the lower left in the 53
rd minute.
Augusto Lebron (Valley Stream, NY) (1-1-1) made six saves in the losing effort, as Maritime was outshot 17-8. Potsdam goalkeeper Lucas Schiel (1-0-0) was credited with three saves before giving way to Ian Schwartz.
