2022 Women's Soccer Schedule

THROGGS NECK, NY – The Maritime College women's soccer team will play six of its first eight games at home in 2022.  Overall, the Privateers' 16-game slate includes nine home contests, starting with the season opener against Alverno on Sept. 2.

After beginning the campaign with its first-ever matchup against the Inferno, Maritime welcomes SUNY-Delhi to Reinhart Field on Sept. 6.  It will be the first of two doubleheaders with the men's team (the second is on Sept. 17).  The Privateers then hit the road for two straight, visiting Pratt on Sept. 9 and opening Skyline Conference play at Yeshiva on Sept. 13.

On Sept. 17, Maritime begins a four-game homestand by taking on Bard.  The Privateers then resume their conference schedule with home matchups against Farmingdale (Sept. 20), Purchase (Sept. 23) and St. Joseph's LI (Sept. 28).

Following the homestand, five of Maritime's final eight contests are on the road, starting with an Oct. 1 showdown at Mount St. Mary.  After returning home to face Sarah Lawrence (Oct. 4), the Privateers visit Manhattanville on Oct. 7.  Maritime concludes non-conference play on Oct. 10, when CCNY travels to Fort Schuyler.

This marks the first season in which Merchant Marine is sponsoring women's soccer, and the initial matchup between the Privateers and Mariners will take place at Kings Point on Oct. 14.  Four days later, Maritime wraps up its home schedule against Mount St. Vincent.  The Privateers' final two regular season contests are both on the road, at St. Joseph's Brooklyn (Oct. 22) and Old Westbury (Oct. 26).

In 2021, Maritime earned a 2-1 victory over Old Westbury in the season finale for its third Skyline Conference win of the season, the most in program history.  The Privateers went 6-8-0 overall in second-year Head Coach Melissa Guglielmo's initial campaign at the helm, their highest win total since 2015.
