In the 64th minute, Dugan and Tavernese connected to make it 2-0, and Tavernese found the back of the net again five minutes later off an assist from Ryan Breaton (Bayport, NY/Bayport Bluepoint)Liam Redden then capped the scoring in the 78th minute after putting in the rebound on Dugan's initial shot that was saved.

The Privateers outshot the Fighting Tigers 22-5, including a 10-0 edge in shots on goal.  Cobleskill goalkeeper John Gergen (0-5-0) made six saves.  For Maritime, Tim Nichols (West Seneca, N.Y./St. Francis) and Ryan Mathis (Shrub Oak, N.Y./Lakeland) combined for the shutout.  Nichols (3-1-0) got the start and was credited with the win, while Mathis played the final 15 minutes.
