Series History: The Privateers and Mustangs have split their 10 all-time matchups with both teams winning five games against one another. Last season Maritime evened the series with a win on Reinhart Field.

Maritime Last Game Recap: The Privateers enter off of its final home game of the season, as the team fell to the Norwich Cadets in overtime by a 17-14 score. Total offense was evenly matched in the game as Maritime totaled 283 yards, while Norwich picked up 278 yards of total offense. The game was the second overtime matchup for the Privateers this season, after knocking off Maine Maritime in the season opener. Maritime had not had an overtime game on Reinhart Field since late October in 2012.

Mount Ida Last Game Recap: The Mustangs head into Saturday's matchup as winners of their last three games, which includes last week's 55-21 win over the Anna Maria AMCATs. Mount Ida had a balanced attack with three passing touchdowns, three rushing touchdowns, and also added one touchdown on defense and special teams.
