        THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (Oct. 26, 2013) – The Maritime women's volleyball team lost its three matches this past weekend: at King's College (Pa.) on Friday night (25-8, 25-14, 25-22), at Old Westbury on Saturday morning (25-7, 25-10, 25-11) and vs. St. Joseph's at OW, also on Saturday, (25-10, 25-14, 25-12).
 
        In the three matches, junior Sydney Carella (Greenville, N.Y./Greenville) (Greenville, N.Y./Greenville) led the team with 32 digs and nine kills. Senior Alyssa Pourmonir (Pittston, Pa./Pittston Area ) (Pittston, Pa./Pittston Area) picked up 26 digs and junior Christine McCormak (Goshen, N.Y./Goshen) recorded 20 assists.
 
        The Privateers return to action on Wednesday night, when they close out the 2013 season with a road match at the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, N.J.
