Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Reinhart Field. The Privateer football program has two special events planned for the day: the Annual Youth Day and the Firehouse Chili Cook-Off.

Youth Day Will Bring Hundreds Of Children To Maritime For Special Day
The Maritime College Community is opening its gates to hundreds of children on Saturday for its Annual Youth Day game. Many organizations and schools, including the
Sports & Arts in Schools Foundation, local Boy Scout and Girl Scout Troops and the local pee wee football league the Bronx Warriors, will be on hand to take part in the events of the day. Fan experiences will include campus tours starting early in the morning and a special Fire Safety Display provided by the FDNY. The snack food company
Pirate Brands has also donated some of its great tasting, healthy snack food options for distribution at the game. And, as always, the Bronx Warriors will be playing on Reinhart Field early in the morning on Saturday.

Privateers Honored Five Times With Conference Player Of The Week Accolades
The Privateers have had four players earn ECFC weekly honors thus far throughout the 2012 season. Senior linebacker

Privateer Breakdown
The Maritime football team enters Saturday's contest with an even 3-4 record under eighth-year head coach
Clayton Kendrick-Holmes, including a 2-2 mark in ECFC action. The Privateers are coming off a tough loss on the road at Mount Ida, 24-21, this past Saturday up in Massachusetts. Prior to that, the team claimed victories over Becker College, 33-7, at home on Oct. 6 and Anna Maria, 42-21, on the road on Oct.13. Maritime opened the season with a 20-14 home win over rival Mass. Maritime on Sept. 7, but lost the next three games – a 19-14 loss on the road to Kings Point on Sept. 15, a 35-16 defeat up at Castleton St. on Sept. 22 and a 21-14 loss defeat to William Paterson on Sept. 29.
Maritime has averaged 331.1 yards of offense per game and has scored 23 touchdowns over the seven games thus far. The Privateer defense has given up 316.7 yards per game, 19 touchdowns and three field goals.
The team's rushing leader is junior quarterback

Keith Barnes (Westbury, N.Y./Westbury), who has a team-high 86 tackles (50 solo and 36 assisted), 6.0 of which have been for combined losses of 18 yards, with two sacks for losses of 13 yards, while also forcing two fumbles. Senior

Duke Alvora (Harrison, N.Y./Harrison) rank second and third on the team with 55 and 47 tackles, respectively. Both players also have forced one fumble, apiece. Lasher leads the squad with 9.5 tackles for losses of a combined 32 yards.
The punting duties have landed on Alvora this season, who has had some great punts thus far. He has amassed 911 yards on 23 punts for an average of 39.6 yards per punt. His longest of the year came in Week Two against Kings Point on a 76-yard punt that went back for a touchback. He has four punts of 50 or more yards, has landed seven inside the opponents' 20-yard line and had two touchbacks. The kickoffs/field goals have been taken by freshman

A Closer Look At The National Rankings
The Privateers rank within the Top 25 among all NCAA DIII programs in two categories: tackles for losses allowed (fifth with 3.57 per game) and sacks allowed (eighth with .57 per game). Individually,
Keith Barnes (Westbury, N.Y./Westbury) ranks eighth in the nation with 7.14 solo tackles per game and 10th with 12.29 total tackles per game.
The highest national ranking for the Eagles comes in the Net Punting category, where they are 43rd with a net average of 34.62 yards. Individually, junior Ernest Wiggins ranks 18th with 1.86 tackles for losses per game.
Inside The Series With Husson
Maritime and Husson have met six times in the modern history of the Privateer football program and the Eagles have the upper hand in the series, 4-2. They won each of the first four meetings from 2006-2009, but the Privateers have come out victorious the past two seasons.

Scouting The Husson Eagles
Husson enters Saturday's game with a 1-6 record under second-year head coach Sean Murphy, including an 0-4 mark in ECFC action. The Eagles lost their season-opener at home against Springfield, 36-2, on Sept. 8, but rebounded to defeat Anna Maria in a non-conference game at home, 28-22, on Sept. 15. Husson has yet to muster another win since, however, dropping the next four games to Becker (away, 34-7 on Sept. 29), Gallaudet (home, 44-14 on Oct. 6), Mount Ida (home, 30-3 on Oct. 13) and Norwich (away, 56-0 on Oct. 20).
The Eagles have averaged 210.6 yards of offense per game with eight touchdowns and one field goal, while giving up 505.7 yards per game.
Senior quarterback Kash Keezer is 71-for-169 on the season and has thrown for 740 yards and five touchdowns. On the ground, he has compiled 44 yards. Junior Ben Foss has been the leading receiver with 16 catches for 232 yards and two scores, while classmate Devin Sherman has hauled in 14 balls for 189 yards and two TDs. Husson's rushing leader is sophomore Ryan Dorso with 435 yards on the ground and he has found the end zone twice.
On defense, sophomore Stephan Dance has a team-high 52 tackles, including 3.5 for losses of 25 yards, with one sack. He has also returned two fumbles a total of 60 yards, including one for a touchdown. Ernest Wiggins is right behind Dance with 51 tackles. He leads the team with 13 tackles for combined losses of 42 yards.
The kicking duties are handled by freshman Reece Attard, who has made 1-of-2 field goals from 25 yards and is also a perfect 9-for-9 on PAT kicks. On punts, he has amassed 55 yards on seven kicks for an average of 39.1 yards per punt. He has landed 14 inside the opponents' 20-yard line and had two go back for touchbacks.
