Freshman Travis Zurita was selected as the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week as well as the ECAC Rookie of the Week.

Zurita had a big hand in leading the Privateers to four victories this week as he hit .643 going 9-for-14 with three doubles on the week. He also led the team with five RBIs, while he was also tied for the team lead with six runs scored on the week. He was 3-for-4 on stolen base attempts and had a .667 on-base percentage.
