Maritime freshman Preston Truong was named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week for the third time in four weeks for the 2015-16 season.

Truong continues to perform at a high caliber to start his career, as he continued his strong success this past week in Maritime's three events.


On Monday, he collected a pair of wins in the 200 Freestyle (1:50.32) and the 100 Butterfly (56.40). He followed that up with a second place finish in the 100 fly against Sarah Lawrence with a time of 55.82. He ended his week with a victory at Merchant Marine in the 500 Freestyle (5:05.25), and also posted a top-10 finish in the 200 Freestyle (1:57.07).
