Maritime Football Senior Kameron Knight earned Defensive Player of the Week accolades following his record-setting performance of 3.5 sacks in the team's win. The sack total equaled the single-game record set by Arlis Steel '07 back in the inaugural season of Maritime football in 2006 against Becker.

In addition to his sack total, Knight was second on the team with nine overall tackles in the season opening win over Maine Maritime on Saturday afternoon on Reinhart Field.
