Amina Hadjeb

Amina Hadjeb completed her first season on the Maritime Women’s Volleyball coaching staff following the 2014 season.

In her first season with the team, she helped guide the squad to a program-best 12 wins as well as the team's first-ever playoff berth as the six seed in the Skyline Conference Tournament. At the conclusion of the season, the team also had its first-ever individual award winner as freshman Shannon Brady was named the league's Rookie of the Year, as well as an All-Conference First Team selection.
 
Hadjeb has accumulated several years of volleyball experience including stints as a volleyball coach with the Catholic Youth Organization as both a head and an assistant coach.
 
In addition to her experience in the CYO, she also served as an assistant volleyball coach with the McClancy Lady Crusaders High School team in Long Island City, Queens under current Maritime head coach Danielle De Stefano. While with McClancy, Hadjeb developed drills and practice plans for players both individually as well as work for the team as a whole.
 
Hadjeb received her Regents High School diploma from the Baccalaureate School for Global Education in Astoria, Queens. She currently attends the Brooklyn Campus of Long Island University, and is majoring in Biology.
