2017: Saw time in 10 games during her sophomore season with the team including nine starts…made her season debut and picked up one draw control against Ramapo in the season opener (3/1)…had a shot with one ground ball and one draw control versus Mount St. Vincent (3/28)…added two shots against Sage (4/7)…picked up one draw control against St. Joseph’s (LI) (4/19)…had two shots with one draw victory at home against Mount St. Mary (4/25)…ended the season with her first career goal as she also picked up one draw control in the season finale against Old Westbury (4/29).

2016: Appeared in 12 of the team’s 13 games during her first season with the team as she earned starts in 10 of those contests … made her collegiate lacrosse debut in the season opener against Mass. Maritime (3/11) … picked up a ground ball in action against Wilkes (3/15) … caused one turnover and added a ground ball in the team’s home opener against Coast Guard (3/19) … scooped up a ground ball in conference play against Sage (4/9) … had one ground ball against Old Westbury (4/23) … had a season-best two caused turnovers and had a ground ball at home against St. Joseph’s (LI) (4/26) … collected a season-best three ground balls and also forced one turnover in the season finale against Mount St. Mary (4/30).

Personal: Daughter of Annemarie & Rob Essex and Dominick Gennaro ... has four siblings, Dom Nick, Chris, and Taylor … is majoring in Naval Architecture while at Maritime and plans to obtain her U.S. Coast Guard Engine License.
