2016: Saw time in six contests for the Privateers during his sophomore season with the team … made his season debut and recorded one shot in the team’s first win of the year over Norwich (3/6) … went 4-for-5 on faceoffs and picked up a pair of ground balls in the team’s win over Maine Maritime (3/12) … went 2-for-2 on his faceoff attempts in the team’s conference win over Mount St. Vincent (4/27) … also attempted two faceoffs against Montclair State in the season finale (4/30).

2015: Served as the team’s second-string faceoff specialist during his first season with the team and won 12 of his 23 faceoff attempts on the season … played in nine of the squad’s 14 contests during his rookie campaign … made his collegiate debut and was 1-for-1 on faceoff attempts while also attempting a shot in the team’s win over Centenary (2/28) … was a perfect 3-for-3 on his faceoff chances on the road against Coast Guard (3/25) … picked up a pair of faceoff wins at home against Merchant Marine (4/8) … won three faceoffs and also picked up a pair of ground balls in the team’s home finale against Montclair State (4/18) … was 1-for-1 on his faceoff chances against Farmingdale in the season finale (4/22).

High School: Graduated from Kellenberg Memorial High School in Uniondale, New York in 2014 … played lacrosse for the Firebirds and was a part of the 2014 CHSAA State Championship team as a senior … also played football while in high school … played for the Long Island Express club lacrosse program.
 
Personal: Son of Mary and Bill Hammond … is planning to graduate with a degree in Marine Transportation while at Maritime.
