2016: Took to the field in 10 of the team’s 14 contests during his sophomore season with the Privateers … made his season debut in the season opener against Centenary (N.J.) (2/27) … picked up a ground ball at home against Norwich (3/6) … saw time and totaled three shots in both games of the Maritime Cup against Mass. Maritime (3/11) and Maine Maritime (3/12) … took two shots and picked up a season-best two ground balls while forcing one turnover at home against Mount St. Vincent (4/27).

High School: Graduated from Indian River High School in Dagsboro, Delaware in 2014 … was a member of the Indian lacrosse team all throughout high school … had 92 points with the team as an upperclassman … was a team captain for several seasons on the lacrosse team as well … was also a member of the cross country and swimming teams while in high school … was a team captain and also a First Team All-County swimmer.
 
Personal: Son of Toni and Jeff Kovatch … has one younger sibling, Wyatt … is looking to earn his degree in Marine Engineering while at Maritime.
