SUNY Maritime

2020: Started in all five games for the Privateers, but still managed to set the program record for goals by netting 25, which bumped his total to 142. His 32 points through five games also moved him to tied for first all-time in program history for points. He opened the year with a nine-point performance in the team's 19-6 win against Marywood and then 10 points in their 20-8 win over Drew. The 10-point performance tied him for second all-time in program history in a single game. 

2019: Started in all 19 games for the Privateers during their Skyline Championship run. He followed up his impressive freshman campaign with arguably the best season in program history where he was named an honorable mention All-American, Skyline Conference Player of the Year, and Second-Team All-ECAC. DeMeo set numerous records throughout his 79 goal and 22 assist year, including most goals and points in a season. He moved into second all-time in program history in goals scored in just his second season and third all-time in points. In the team's NCAA Tournament first round win he recorded seven of the teams 14 goals to help lead them to an overtime win.

2018: Named Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Rookie of the Year amongst all ECAC Men’s Lacrosse Teams…also selected as the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Year and earned Skyline All-Conference First Team accolades following the regular season with the Privateers…started in all 15 contests for Maritime as a rookie…led the team with 38 goals as well as 15 assists for a team-best 53 points…was second on the team with 94 shots…had a team-best eight man-up goals…ended the season fourth on the team with 33 ground balls…began his career with two goals in the team’s win over Centenary (N.J.) (2/24)…added three goals and had a pair of loose ball pickups at home against Drew (2/28)…notched a goal and an assist versus Mass. Maritime (3/10)…had a four-point game with two goals and two assists against Western Connecticut (3/14)…had one goal and two helpers in the team’s conference-opening win over Purchase (3/17)…netted a pair of goals against Coast Guard (3/22)…had a season-best four assists and seven points in the team’s convincing conference win over Mount St. Vincent (3/24)…scored three goals and had three ground balls in league play at Merchant Marine (3/29)…picked up another two goals at Salve Regina (4/4)…netted three goals in non-conference play at home against Delhi (4/7)…set a season-high with four goals and also added two assists in the team’s win over Becker (4/9)…had one goal and one assist versus St. Joseph’s (LI) (4/13)…tied his season-high with four goals and also added three ground balls at Farmingdale (4/21)…ended his regular season by tying his year-best with seven points as he also tied his season high with four goals and set a new season high with five ground balls against Mount St. Mary (4/28)…added three more goals and three more ground balls in the Skyline Conference semifinals against Mount St. Mary (5/2).

High School: Graduated from Sayville High School in Sayville, New York in 2017…played three seasons of varsity lacrosse for the Flashes…earned All-Division Honors as a senior…scored 93 goals and 26 assists during his high school career…also played one season on football while in high school…played club lacrosse for the Long Island Empire.
 
Personal: Son of Cheryl and Jerry DeMeo…has one older brother; Jerry…is majoring in Marine Transportation while also planning to obtain his U.S. Coast Guard Deck License while at Maritime.
