Biography

At Maritime:

2011: Played four games for the Privateers, making his season debut on March 16 against Kings Point. John chipped in defensively causing one turnover.
 
John will major in Marine Operations.
 
Prior to Maritime:

John played for the Portledge Panthers under Coach Marcello Sandoval. While at Portledge, John was also part of the golf and hockey team, winning the golf MVP in 2009. He has also been part of the Oyster Bay Fire Department.
 
Personal:

John is the son of Patricia and Michael. His brother Richard (17) attends Oyster Bay. John goes by the nickname “Jahbrook” or “Hammy”. The person he most admires is his father and his favorite athlete is Patrick Elias. John lists the New Jersey Devils’ Stanley Cup wins on 2000 and 2003 as his favorite moments in sports.
