Aaron Rowen '05 completed his seventh season as an assistant coach with the Maritime Swimming & Diving team in 2014-15. In addition to his role as assistant coach, Rowen has served as a lecturer at Maritime college since 2007.
Rowen was a three time Varsity letter winner as an undergraduate swimmer at Maritime, and stood out in the breaststroke and butterfly events. His leadership on the team helped the Privateers to a record of 39-9 over his three seasons with the team.
Upon graduation, Rowen sailed as a licensed Engineer on a variety of vessels.
Rowen graduated with a degree in Facilities Engineering in 2005 from Maritime. He later went on to receive his Master's Degree from NYIT in 2010.
