2016-17: Was one of just two Privateers to start in all 25 of the team’s games during his senior season…was second on the team in scoring with 374 points…was third on the team with 115 field goals on the year and led the squad with 74 three-pointers…second on the team with 70 made free throws…was also second in rebounds with 129 overall including 34 offensive and 95 defensive boards…was tied for second on the squad with 50 assists and was also second on the team with 27 steals…second in minutes played with 836 on the season…opened the year playing 36 minutes and scoring nine points with four rebounds against Lehman (11/15)…recorded 10 points with a season-high five assists against Elmira (11/19)…scored 15 points with eight rebounds at home against his former team Mitchell (11/27)…scored 20 points with four helpers in conference play at Purchase (12/1)…tallied a program-record eight three-pointers as he amassed 27 points in the team’s home matchup with Merchant Marine (12/3)…scored 18 points at Yeshiva (12/8)…registered 25 points on seven three-pointers to close out the calendar against Maine-Presque Isle (12/31)…picked up 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting at Sage (1/11)…nearly recorded a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds at home versus New Rochelle (1/17)…tallied a season-best 31 points in 39 minutes with seven rebounds and two assists in the team’s win over Hunter (1/25)…followed that up with 14 points against St. Joseph’s (Bklyn) (1/28)…closed out the month with a 21-point effort on the road in conference play at Farmingdale (1/31)…picked up another 17 points on the road versus Merchant Marine (2/4)…notched 14 points in 34 minutes at Mount St. Mary (2/11)…played another 37 minutes and added 12 points at home versus Sarah Lawrence (2/14)…had a 20-point effort in a season-high 42 minutes against Mount St. Vincent (2/17)…finished up the year with his only double-double of the season as he recorded 11 points and had a season-best 15 rebounds against Sage (2/18).

2015-16: Saw time in all but one game during his junior season with the team as he started in 23 contests … finished the season fifth on the team with 167 points on the season … was second on the team as he made 46.6 percent of his shots and also led the team as he made 40.0 percent of his three-point attempts … also led all regulars making 79.2 percent from the free-throw line … finished the year fourth on the team with 22 steals and was also fifth in assists with 39 … pulled down 98 rebounds as he finished fourth on the team in that category … picked up eight points at home in action against Vassar (11/24) … followed that up with a season-best four assists to go along with two steals and five points against Lehman (12/2) … picked up a season-best 16 points in conference action against Mount St. Vincent (1/9) … added 12 points and pulled down six rebounds on the road against Farmingdale (1/14) …  had a season-best nine rebounds as he tied his season-high with 16 points and added three steals against Mount St. Vincent (1/26) … had 10 points against Sage (2/6) … had his second-straight double-digit performance with 14 points versus Purchase (2/11) … finished the year with back-to-back seven-point performances against St. Joseph’s (Bklyn) (2/17) and Sarah Lawrence (2/20).

2013-14 (at Mitchell): Attended Mitchell College in New London, Connecticut as a freshman … was a member of both the basketball team as well as the cross country team … competed in four games on the hardwood including a stint in the NCAA Tournament against Williams in the season finale … had a season-best 11th place finish with the cross country team at the Wesleyan (Conn.) Meet.
 
High School: Graduated from Fishers Island School in Fishers Island, New York in 2013 … played basketball for the Vikings … was a member of the two-time basketball tournament championship team in both 2012 and 2013 … was named team Most Valuable Player as a sophomore, junior and senior for the basketball team … is Fishers Islands all-time leading steals and assists leader … averaged 24.7 points per game his senior year as he left the school fourth all-time in scoring with 939 career points … also competed in cross country and golf for the Vikings and was a four-time team Most Valuable Player for the cross country team.
 
Personal: Son of Elizabeth and David Hoch … has one older brother, Zack … is planning to earn his degree in International Transportation and Trade while at Maritime.
