2013-14: Saw time in seven games for the Privateers during his first season with the team … played in the season opener against Sarah Lawrence and went 1-of-2 from the floor in the season opener (11/15) …  saw a season-high five minutes and also went 1-of-1 from the floor and 2-of-2 from the free throw line against Farmingdale in conference play (12/4) … went 2-for-2 from the charity stripe against Purchase (2/8) … recorded a season-high four points in four minutes on 1-of-2 shooting against Mount St. Vincent (2/19).

High School: Graduated from New Dorp High School on Staten Island … was a four-sport athlete for the Central Cougars as he played basketball … he was also a forward on the hockey team, pitched for the baseball team and played wide receiver for the football squad during his time in high school … was a freshman on the Staten Island CHSAA AA Championship team … averaged 10.5 points per game and also five rebounds and four assists on the basketball court at New Dorp … also played for the Staten Island Stingray club team.

Personal: Son of Patricia and Michael Oliva … has two younger siblings, Brian and Kaitlyn … is planning to major in International Trade and Transport during his time at Maritime.
