2017-18: Saw time in 24 of the team’s 25 games during his first season with the Privateers…began the year with a basket and one offensive rebound against York (N.Y.) (11/15)…had three rebounds to go along with a pair of free throws in the conference opener at St. Joseph’s (LI) (11/21)…had three points and three rebounds on the road at Old Westbury (12/7)…played 15 minutes and had a season-best six rebounds and a season-high three assists while scoring two points at home against Farmingdale (1/30)…pulled down five rebounds and added two assists while dropping a pair of three-point baskets on the road at New Rochelle (2/11)…ended the year with one rebound in four minutes against Sarah Lawrence (2/17).

2016-17 (at New Rochelle): Saw time in 23 contests while a member of the Blue Angel basketball team during his freshman season…recorded 43 points on the year including a season-high 16 in the season finale…netted two points on a pair of free throws against Maritime in mid-January.
 
High School: Graduated from Nazareth Regional High School in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 2016…was a two-year member of the Kingsmen varsity basketball team…was selected as a team captain as a senior…also named Most Improved Player as a senior…was chosen as the Coaches Award Recipient as a junior…played one season of varsity baseball in high school.
 
Personal: Son of Jermaine Brathwaite and Akisha Mendenhall-Brathwaite … has two younger siblings; Justin and Jalen … plans to earn his degree in International Transportation and Trade while at Maritime.
