Biography

At Maritime:

2011: Junior Season –

2010: Sophomore Season- Thomas played in all 11 games as a starter registering 29 total tackles and 7 Tackles for Loss.  His 5 Sacks was a team best and his impact was noted by Honorable Mention All-ECFC recognition. 

2009: Freshman Season - Thomas played in seven games and registered 9 tackles a QB hurry and also recovered a fumble.  Made spring Academic Dean’s List.

Thomas is majoring in International Transportation and Trade while pursuing a degree in Marine Technology: Small Vessel Operations with a USCG Limited Tonnage License.

Prior to Maritime:

Thomas played for Coach Heath Nivens at University Christian High School where he received All-District and All-County honors as well as ranked as a Top 10 Defensive End in Florida by Rivals. Walter also was involved with wrestling and golf in high school.

His parents are Angela and Walter Boney.
