Biography

2018: Played in six games... 800# club member in the offseason lifting program.

2017: A versatile athlete who played multiple positions on offensive and special teams. Saw action in nine games at quarterback or wide receiver.

2016: Served primarily as a backup quarterback during his freshmen season. Was a key member of the offensive attack team and won attack player of the week for his efforts preparing for Mass. Maritime.
 
Academics: In the regiment of cadets and is majoring in Maritime Studies with a U.S. Coast Guard Deck License. A member of the Maritime Dean’s List for the fall 2016 semester.
 
Prior to Maritime: Attended Susan E. Wagner High School where he played for Coach Al Paturzo and was Most Outstanding Player in 2014. Also participated in ice hockey and baseball. He was active in the school and community as a volunteer at Toys For Tots, Bobby Ryan Burn Center Charity, and The Wounded Warriors Project.
 
Personal: Parents are Mariann and Robert Wheeler. Plays on the Maritime Rugby team.
