Biography

2019: Played in seven games for the Privateers... had 2 tackles against Merchant Marine... recorded 3 tackles in the NCAA Tournament game against Salisbury.

2018: Participated in 10 of 11 games... Had six total tackles.

2017: Played linebacker and special teams seeing significant action in 7 games. Named Defensive Attack Team Player of the Week in the season opening victory over Maine Maritime. He was also voted Defensive Attack Team Player of the Year by his teammates.
 
Academics: Majoring in Maritime Studies and will join the regiment of cadets in Fall 2018. Earned Academic Admiral’s List in Fall 2017. 

Prior to Maritime: Attended Ward Melville High School High School where he played for Coach Chris Boltrek and was Suffolk County Football Coaches Association First Team All-Division, and a PAL Suffolk All Star team member and was the team Defensive MVP. He also participated in track & field. He was active in the school and community as a member of Young Marines of Long Island.

Personal: Parents are Nicholas and Deena Brando. Participates in Rugby at Maritime.
