Biography

2017 Freshman Season: Will be an incoming freshman in the fall 2017 and will play defensive line.
 
Academics: Majoring in Naval Architecture with a U.S. Coast Guard Deck License.

Prior to Maritime: Attended Cornwall Central High School High School where he played for Coach Mike Connoly and was a two-time New York Section IX champion. Also participated in wrestling, track & field, and lacrosse and also won the NYSPHSAA Scholar Athlete Award. Was active in the school and community by participating as a youth wrestling coach.

Personal: Parents are Deirdre and Alvar Astigarraga.
