2017 Freshman Season: Will be an incoming freshman in the fall 2017 and play offensive line.
 
Academics: Majoring in Facilities Engineering with a U.S. Coast Guard Engine License.
 
Prior to Maritime: Attended Half Hollow Hills High School East High School where he played for Coach Mike Marotta and was an All-Divison selection, while also winning the sportsmanship award, and the 2017 Thunderbolt Award. Also participated in track & field. Was active in the school and community as a Town of Huntington Counselor In Training (C.I.T) and Counselor.

Personal: Parents are Staci and Michael Bakalo.
