At Maritime:
2012: Senior Season – Keith earned Iron Privateer Level in the off season lifting 1480 lbs in his 4 max outs.
2011: Junior Season – Keith continued his domination in the ECFC and garnered his second straight ECFC Defensive Player of the Year Award and First Team All-Conference honors. He was also named to the Consensus Draft Services Preseason All-America Team. The Team Defensive MVP led the defense to their highest national rankings in Pass Defense (2nd), First Down Defense (7th), Third Down Conversion (14th), Total Defense (8th), and Scoring Defense (34th). While not his best year statistically, he still led the defense in tackles (88), tackles for loss (9), Interception yards (2 for 37) and ball carriers knocked back (22). Keith was named Defensive Player of the Week against Bentley and WARFACE Captain against King’s Point. He received Iron Privateer Level Award in the off season program lifting 1625 lbs in his 4 max outs.
2010: Sophomore Season – Keith was named Team MVP for the season and garnered ECFC Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference honors. Keith also pulled down D3football.com All-East Region honors and finished the season nationally ranked in Total Tackles (28th with 115), Solo Tackles (12th with 74) and Tackles for Loss (31st with 19). He was also instrumental in a national top 25 ranking in Turnover Margin contributing 1 Forced Fumble, 2 Fumble Recoveries and 1 Interception against Norwich that he returned for 45 yards. Keith was named ECFC Defensive Player of the Week 4 times, team Defensive Player of the Week against Mass Maritime and Mount Ida, and WARFACE Captain for the Anna Maria game.
2009: Freshman Season – Keith’s presence on the defense was felt significantly as he tallied a team leading 90 tackles (25 assisted) and 8.5 tackles for lost yardage. He also forced 3 fumbles, recovering one and registered 2 sacks and 2 interceptions on the season. Keith was named first ever ECFC Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Privateers with 7.5 tackles (7 solo, 1 assisted) in the 31-14 Chowder Bowl victory over Mass. Maritime. He was also named ECAC NE Player of the Week against USMMA as he recorded 12 tackles, one forced fumble and one sack. Keith was a 3 time ECFC Defensive Player of the Week (Mass Maritime, USMMA and Becker) and garnered Second Team All-Conference recognition for the season. He was voted the seasons Defensive Most Valuable Player by his team mates.
Academics: Keith is majoring in International Transportation and Trade and made the Academic Dean’s List for the spring 2012 semester. He spent the 2012 summer in Los Angeles, CA, on an internship with Ports of America.
