SUNY Maritime

2018:  Named to All-ECFC Honorable Mention list... Finished the season with 32 tackles, including 29 solo tackles... Had two interceptions... Recorded a fumble in the Privateers win versus Maine Maritime (9/1) 1000# club member in the offseason lifting program... Recorded a season high six solo tackles in win over Gallaudet (11/10)... Blocked two passes in win over Castleton (10/20).

2017: Registered an outstanding season at cornerback and on special teams. Top-Five in the nation in blocked kicks. Against Castleton he blocked his 3rd and 4th kicks of the season and was named Team Special Teams Player of the Game, ECFC Special Teams Player of the Week and ECAC Division III South Special Teams Player of the Week. He was also voted the teams Most Improved Special Teams Player of the Year.   
 
2016: 900# Club member in the offseason lifting program. Started at defensive back and made an immediate impact totaling 39 tackles, two fumble recoveries, and one interception. He was selected as Defensive Player of the Game vs. Husson. Karl became the Maritime single-season leader in pass breakups with 10 on the season.
 
2015: Played defensive back seeing action in all 10 games and made an impact on special teams returning kicks. He was second on the team with returns bringing back 11 kicks for over 17 yards per attempt.
 
Academics: Karl is in the regiment of cadets and is majoring in Small Vessel Operations where he will earn a USCG Limited Tonnage Licence. Spent summer 2018 on inernship with GPH tugboats in Gulf of Mexico. 
 
Prior to Maritime: Attended Cedar Creek High School where he played for Coach Tim Watson while also participating in Wrestling and Track.
