2017: Appeared in all 14 games for the Privateers during his first season with the team and made three starts…was tied for second on the team with 12 caused turnovers during the season…made his collegiate debut and scored his first career goal with two ground balls and two caused turnovers against Centenary (N.J.) (2/25)…picked up two more ground balls on the road against Drew (3/2)…picked up an assist and took a season-high six shots in the team’s home opener against Salve Regina (3/5)…made the start and tallied one assist with three ground balls and two caused turnovers against Maine Maritime (3/10)…had a season-high six ground balls with one goal and one assist against Mount St. Vincent (3/18)…picked up another goal with four ground balls in league play against Kean (3/25)…had single goals in back-to-back games against Mount St. Mary (4/5) and Stockton (4/8)…registered an assist in the team’s road game at St. Joseph’s (LI) (4/18)…took two shot in the final game of the season against Montclair State (4/22).

High School: Graduated from Clearview Regional High School in Mullica Hill, N.J. in 2016 … was a four-year lacrosse player for the Pioneers … was selected as an All-Conference honoree, and also earned Second Team All-State as well as All-American Honors as a senior … also named an Academic All-American in high school … tallied 90 goals and 98 assists during his four seasons with the program as he helped the team to 58 victories over that time … also played club lacrosse for the South Jersey Shamrocks … was a member of the National Honor Society.
 
Personal: Son of Corrine and Carl Specht … has three siblings; Haley, Luke and Hannah … is planning to graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Maritime.
