SUNY Maritime

After a season away in 2017, Tom Schaller returns for his second stint on the Maritime football staff and will be entering his 10th season with the team as the defensive line coach in 2018.

His consistent and demanding approach continues to pay off in player development and he has produced eight total All-ECFC defensive linemen selections.

Prior to coming to Maritime, Coach Schaller was the defensive line coach at Pace University in Pleasantville, N.Y. His coaching experience spans nearly thirty years at various universities in the State of New York, ranging from NCAA Division I though Division III.

A graduate of Manhattan College in Riverdale, N.Y., Schaller holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Physical Education. He received his Master's Degree from Fordham University in Educational Administration and Supervision and he currently resides in the Bronx.
