Adam Moses

Adam Moses enters his third season with the Maritime Football team in 2021.

In his first season on staff the Privateer offense re-established the running attack resulting in the league’s leading individual rusher.  Offensively the Privateers finish first in the conference in 3rd down percentage and Red Zone offense.  Nationally, the offense finished 16th in the nation in Red Zone offense, which is the best mark in program history.  The Maritime Offense was capped off with five all- conference selections.

Moses previously worked with Ohio Northern University as the special teams coordinator, wide receivers coach, and recruiting coordinator for two seasons.

During his two years at Ohio Northern, Moses' special teams unit was first in the nation in punt defense (2017), sixth in the nation in blocked kicks (2017), first in the Ohio Athletic Conference in PAT (2018), and first in the conference in field goal percentage (2018). Offensively, Moses coached five all-conference players as well as a single season 1,000 yard receiver. Off the field, his positional group accumulated above a 3.0 GPA each working semester and he coordinated the community service project "Victory Day."

In 2014 Moses moved on to Hiram College where he was eventually promoted to Offensive Coordinator and led the offense to a historic season in 2016.  During that season the Terriers broke or re-broke nine offensive records. Individually, he helped lead senior wide receiver Joshua Philander to the single-game touchdown record and single-season receiving touchdown record, also resulting in a 1,000 yard season. Moses coached a total of seven all-conference athletes during his three years at Hiram.

Beginning his career at his alma mater, Moses worked as an offensive assistant finishing the 2013 season leading the conference in all major passing categories and two all-conference selections within his position group.

Moses graduated from Waynesburg (Pa.) University in 2013, where he had a prolific career as a tight end. He earned three All-American awards as well as all-conference and all-region. In 2014, Moses was named to the All-Presidents Athletic Conference 60th Anniversary Team.
