SUNY Maritime

At Maritime:

2011: Sophomore Season - Received Privateer Level Award in off season program lifting 1375 lbs in his 4 max outs.

2010: Freshman Season - Church burst onto the scene for the Privateers playing in all but one of 11 contests (due to injury).  His impact came primarily as a Special Teams performer as he registered 7 tackles, one blocked kick and 24 yards on 2 returns.  Church’s teammates were impressed enough to vote him the Special Teams Player of the Year.  He was also named Defensive Attack Team Player of the Week against Husson and Special Teams Player of the Week against Anna Maria. 

Church is currently undecided on his major.

Prior to Maritime:

Church played football at James I. O’neill High School for Coach Tim Hendershot. While playing for Coach Hendershot Church received team MVP, Class B All-Star, Section 9 All-Star, was voted as the teams captain, and Offensive MVP. O’Neill High School was also Section 9 Champions once and Section 9 Semifinalists while Church was there.
