Biography

At Maritime:

2010: Junior Season-

 

2009: Sophomore Season- Started all ten games leading the offense in the most productive output in Maritime history.  His 1,415 yards of total offense (772 rush, 643 pass) lead the team and his quick decision making ability was a key factor in a #1 national ranking in 3rd down conversion percentage and sacks allowed.  He was named Offensive Player of the Week against Massachusetts Maritime and Second Team All ECFC Quarterback.

 

2008: Freshman Season - Started the last two games of the year and appeared in five games. Anthony completed 7 passes for 126 yards and 2 TDs. He also rushed for 216 yards and 2 TDs.  He was voted the season’s Most Improved Offensive Player by his team mates.

 

Anthony is majoring in Marine Transportation with a USCG Deck License and a member of the Maritime NROTC Unit in the Merchant Marine Reserve Program.

 

Prior to Maritime:

Anthony played for Coach Rich Reichart at St. Anthony's High School. Anthony was named the Charlie Mclaughlin award winner. Anthony also played lacrosse in high school. He attended Courtland State University for one year before transferring to Maritime College.

 

Personal:

His parents are Alice and John Gagliano.  His twin brother is teammate John.
