Biography

At Maritime:
2016: Senior Season - 1000# Club member in the offseason lifting program.

2015 Season – Did not play due to off-season injury. Andy supported the team as a manager.

2014: Junior Season - Started in eight games as the primary receiver for the Privateers missing two games for injury in the mid season. Recorded 11 catches for 134 yards and was named Offensive Player of the Game against Merchant Marine.

2013: Sophomore Season – Andrew was elected by his teammates to the Football Leadership Council. He earned Iron Privateer Lifting Level in the offseason weight program lifting 255 Lbs. in his four max-outs. He recorded one catch on the season for 13 yards and was an effective blocker for the Privateers.

2012: Freshman Season – Andrew made an impact in his first year as a primary back–up and saw action in four games on the season. He recorded one catch on the season for five yards and proved himself to be a dominating blocker on the perimeter.

Academics: Andrew is majoring in Marine Transportation with a USCG Deck License.

Prior to Maritime: Andrew played for Coach Sears at St. Paul’s High School where he was All-District.

Personal: Andrew’s parents are Cheryl and Eric Short.
