SUNY Maritime

2018:  Played in all 11 contests... Had a forced fumble in win over Maine Maritime (9/1)... Totaled four solo tackles in a 35-7 victory over Dean (10/13)... 1000# club member in the offseason lifting program.

2017: 1000# Club member in the offseason lifting program. Played in all 11 games as a linebacker and special teams performer.
 
2016: 900# Club member in the offseason lifting program. Moved to linebacker and was a key contributor on special teams as well as the defensive attack team. Won Attack Player of the Week on multiple occasions and was named the Defensive Attack Player of the Year. 
 
2015: Played defensive back on the attack team and saw action in three games as a special teams player. Named the 2015 Red Hat Player of the Year. He was the Red Hat Player of the Week against Norwich and the Defensive Attack Team Player of the Game against Castleton.
 
Academics: In the regiment of cadets and is majoring in Marine Ops with a U.S. Coast Guard Engine License. Earned Academic Dean's List for fall of 2015.
 
Prior to Maritime: Attended C.W. Baker High School, where he played for Coach Carl Sanfilippo and was All-Central New York, All-League and Arcaro Senior Bowl player. Also participated in track & field while volunteering with his Church youth group, Nursery School and Public library.
 
Personal: Parents are Dawn and Tom Tanguay and his brother played offensive line for the Privateers and graduated in 2016.
