Biography

2017 Senior Season: Selected as a team captain. 1000# Club member in the offseason lifting program.

2016 Junior Season: 1000# Club member in the offseason lifting program with 1,135 total pounds and the highest squat max on the team with 500#. Was one of the top offensive linemen in the conference and was an All-ECFC selection. He was selected as the team’s Worth Ethic Award winner following the season.

2015 Sophomore Season: Started in all 10 games at Center and help the offense set records in rushing and passing during the season. 1000# Club member in the offseason lifting program.

2014 Freshman Season: Played in six games on the season as a primary backup on the offensive line at center.

Academics: Majoring in Marine Transportation with a U.S. Coast Guard Deck License. He earned Academic Dean's List for fall of 2015.

Prior to Maritime: Attended East Islip High School and played offensive and defensive line. He was selected as a captain during his senior season as well as First Team All-Division. Was also captain of the basketball team and an All-Conference discus thrower.

Personal: Parents are Myron and Dawn McDaniel. His brother, Shamus, graduated in 2016.
