2017 Senior Season: Elected team captain and serves as a football representative on the Maritime Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

2016 Junior Season: Elected team captain and serves as a football representative on the Maritime Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. He earned 1,000# Club member in the offseason lifting program. Was recognized as one of the top offensive linemen and student-athletes in the conference winning First Team All-ECFC and Academic All-ECFC. Won the Maritime Accountability and “Ax” Award given to the team’s top offensive linemen.

2015 Sophomore Season: Second Team All-ECFC offensive lineman and was awarded as the 2015 Offensive Most Improved Player. He was named Offensive Player of the Game against Merchant Marine. 

2014 Freshman Season: Spent the season on the attack team helping the defense prepare for opponents and saw action in the final game of the season against Gallaudet.

Academics: Majoring in Marine Engineering with a U.S. Coast Guard Engine License. He earned Academic Dean's List for fall 2014 and spring 2015. Earned Admiral’s List and had the second highest GPA on the team in the spring of 2016 with a 3.7. Was selected as a CoSIDA Academic All-District team representative in 2016.

Prior to Maritime: Earned Academic All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-County Honors as an offensive and defensive lineman for Wantagh High School.

Personal: Parents are Tom and Sharon Korwan. His brother Michael is also an offensive lineman in the class of 2020.
