2018: Saw Action in nine games... Passed and rushed for two touchdowns... Totaled 161 yards on 12-26 passing in 14-7 victory at Anna Maria (10/27).. 800# club member in the offseason lifting program. Elected as President of the Student Government Association. Member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee for football.

2017: Played in all 11 games as the backup quarterback during the offensive record setting season. Starting holder for ECFC Special Teams Player of the Year kicker, Matt Murphy. Named Special Teams Player of the Game against Merchant Marine. Member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee for football.
 
2016: 800# Club member in the offseason lifting program. Appeared in eight games recording six starts. Was first on the team in total yards from scrimmage and won Offensive Player of the Game for his efforts vs. Castleton. Awarded the teams “Most Improved Offensive Player Award”. Set the single-game records for passing attempts, completions, and passing touchdowns. Was elected by his peers as Vice President of the Student Government Association.
 
2015: Played quarterback primarily helping the defense prepare for games but did see action in two games gaining 11 yards on three carries. Was awarded the 2015 Offensive Attack Team Player of the Year. He was also named Offensive Attack Team Player of the Game against Mass. Maritime. Elected by the freshman class as the Student Government Association Representative.
 
Academics: Joe is in the regiment of cadets and is majoring in Mechanical Engineering with an U.S. Coast Guard Engine License. Earned Academic Dean’s List fall 2017 and spring 2018.
 
Prior to Maritime: Attended Massapequa High School where he played for Coach Kevin Shippos and was football team captain while also participating in baseball. A member and officer in the National Honor Society and National German Honor Society. Active in the school and community as Massapequa International Little League Coach, Massapequa Challenger Little League Assistant, Student Against Destructive Decisions Club Member and Victory Challenge Team Leader.
